This magnificent steam pumping engine of 1849 is still capable of lifting 4 tonnes of water from the river Derwent to the Cromford Canal in each stroke.

Opening Times:

* 12 noon - 5 pm

   Sun 30th

* May: Mon 1st

* June: Sat 3rd & Sun 4th

* July: Sat 1st & Sun 2nd

* August: Sat 5th & Sun 6th,
   Sun 27th & Mon 28th

* October: Sat 7th & Sun 8th
