There is an exciting opportunity at Cromford Mills, part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site in Derbyshire. Join the Arkwright Society as their Engagement Officer and be part of a once-in-a-generation project to transform historic mill buildings into a commercial and community uses for this heritage visitor attraction. The project aims to broaden engagement through learning programmes, volunteer involvement, and community activities, ensuring Cromford Mills remains a key destination in the Derwent Valley.

For the development of this transformation project, you will work with the project team, as well as staff, volunteers and wider stakeholders to shape the site’s plans through consultations, focus groups, and community engagement – through the Activity Plan development.  This will include planning and delivery of events, fundraising activities and visitor programmes.
