The Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site is a large and complex one with a wide range of stakeholders; those people and organisations that support the work of the Partnership and to whom the Partnership can offer advice and expertise. Land and buildings within the World Heritage Site are owned by a diverse range of organisations and individuals. Some have statutory responsibility for land, assets or functions within the Site. There are also agencies, charities, groups and individuals with interests spanning the economy, education, conservation and research. The Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site has a range of attractions which have differing management arrangements.
