Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site will be celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on Sunday 3rd June in Belper River Gardens. Highlights will include the re-enactment of Princess Victoria's visit to the mill in 1832, as our very own "Princess Victoria" arrives by horse and carriage, turns on the new fountain in the gardens, and takes a tour of Strutt's North Mill with "George Benson Strutt". Lots of other activities taking place in the River Gardens, and Belper - so come along and support the only World Heritage Site in the East Midlands and help us to make this a celebration worthy of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
