Historic Railway Walk, Rowsley

Glynn Waite is a well respected railway historian who was formerly chief clerk at Rowsley and is a prominent member of the Railway Association. Join Glynn on a fascinating walk of Rowsley taking in the structures and sites associated with the development of the local railway network, which began in 1846. The walk will take about 3 hours and covers a distance of 2 miles.
Meet at the Rowsley Old Station, which is the centre-piece of the Peak Village complex. Those attending the walks are asked to park in Section A of the car park.
