DerwentWISE Arts and Interpretation Officer

Part time post – 15 hrs

Salary £24,671 pro rata + 9.5% pension and other benefits

Fixed term contract to 31st December 2018

The DerwentWISE Partnership has been awarded £1.7 million by the Heritage Lottery Fund to deliver a £2.5 million landscape partnership project in the Lower Derwent Valley, stretching from Matlock Bath to Derby, the setting for the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site.

We are seeking a part time (2 days a week) Arts and Interpretation Officer to co-ordinate the work of partner organisations within a large scale, multi-faceted partnership programme. You will be responsible for working with volunteers and community groups to restore and celebrate this wonderful landscape.

You must have excellent partnership, budget and project management experience and a good understanding of cultural heritage issues and community engagement.
