Thanks to The National Lottery
From 3-9 December 2018, attractions along the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site are opening their doors for free or providing a special offer to National Lottery players.
Cromford Mills will be throwing open its doors into the Visitor @ Building 17 for free to National Lottery players during the week of 3-9 December 2018. The idea is simple: any visitor who presents a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard from the 3rd to 9th of December 2018, gets two free tickets to the Visitor Centre @ Building 17 in return plus an audio or guided tour.
Derby Museums will be offering a special Buy one Get One Free offer on hot drinks in the Coffee House at Derby Museum and Art Gallery. Any visitor who presents a National Lottery ticket or scratchcard at the Coffee House from 4-9 December will be able to claim a free hot drink for every hot drink purchased.
You’ll also be able to see The Makory – the Mobile Museum of Making at Markeaton Park on 1st & 2nd December.
We are joining hundreds of participating National Lottery-funded visitor attractions across the UK saying ‘thanks’ to people who have raised money for good causes by buying a lottery ticket.
Please check further information on each of the offers and full Terms and Conditions by visiting the organisations websites directly.

Notes to editors:
The National Lottery
National Lottery players raise, on average, £30 million each week for projects all over the country. In total £38 billion has been raised for Good Causes since The National Lottery began in 1994 and more than 535,000 individual grants have been made across the UK, the majority (70 per cent) of which are for £10,000 or less, helping small projects make a big difference in their community!
The Heritage Lottery Fund
Thanks to National Lottery players, we invest money to help people across the UK explore, enjoy and protect the heritage they care about – from the archaeology under our feet to the historic parks and buildings we love, from precious memories and collections to rare wildlife.
