BELPER IN WAR TIME HERITAGE WALK

It’s 107 years after the Armistice that ended the large scale fighting in the Great War. The world wars resulted in huge mobilisations of people and material that affected everywhere and everyone in this country and beyond. It caused rapid and often destructive social, economic and political change. Belper was no exception and in a two hour walk we’ll look at some of the places where this can be appreciated.
