BELPER AT WAR WALK – BELPER 250

People tend not to associate Belper with military history, so it usually comes as a surprise just how much the town actually has. This three-hour walk around the town tells the story of Belper’s military history, from the 1700s and the steps taken by the Strutts to protect the mills, to the 20th Century and one of the biggest secrets of the Second World War.

Venue: The Triangle (junction of A6 Bridge Street and A517 Bridgefoot), Belper
Time: 10am and 2pm
Cost:
Prices £3.00 per person, family rates £5.00 for 1 adult and up to 4 children, and £8.00 for 2 adults and up to 4 children.
