Draw Derby is a free untutored bring your own materials Drawing session organised by Karen Logan, in a special event presented in partnership with Derby Museums, come and meet likeminded others and DRAW!
Bring a curious, playful attitude, no judgement, no experience needed and all levels of experience welcome. Drawing requires in-depth looking, looking is an act of attention and taking time to draw the city is an act of love.

How does it work?
Please bring something to draw with and something to draw on. There are no rules about materials – use what you like. No materials provided.
We all draw. This is not a tutored event. You draw what you see, in your own way.
After two hours we will share drawings and exchange supportive feedback.
What will we draw?
The Museum of Making will provide our inspiration, you will draw what is around you and are free to focus on a particular inspiration – people, buildings, nature, etc.
What do I need to do?
Chose what to bring and prepare sketching materials
Check the forecast and dress appropriately
