A 1.5 mile stroll round the town visiting the haunts of some of Belper’s notorious criminals and other underhand activities. From the Market Place, we visit the first purpose built court house in Belper, through the grounds of St Peter’s Church, then a meander through the homestead to the Triangle, back along the A6 to the Lion Hotel, towards the Railway Hotel and King Street. Some uphill walking, but mainly on pavements.
