For Key Stage 1 discover ‘Who is Richard Arkwright?’ What did he do and how did his ideas change history?
Key Stage 2 pupils can experience a range learning days to discover the lives of the children in the mills, the science behind the waterwheels old and new and the geography of the local area and how society shaped it.
For Key Stage 3 and 4 you can build your own bespoke visit; fully led or part led from the team on site with Historical, Geographical or Engineering/Design Technology focus including; Industrial Revolution, local and national impact of the Mills, the development of the site, physical processes, design skills and product design.
