Come along and press your over-large crops of apples, pears and soft fruit by the bushel (boxes- and bags-full) to juice that can be frozen in plastic containers, to bring out over the winter, or fermented into cider. It’s a good idea to bring your own chopping board and knife and plastic bottles, but these will also be supplied. While you are busy chopping, mashing, pressing and bottling (children love taking part but please help keep a safety watch) or just looking on, you will be entertained by music and Morris dancing or learning from an attending expert. There will also be produce and refreshment stalls and children’s games and activities.
