Historic Derby – Guided Tour
Historic Derby – Guided Tour with Danny Wells
Come on a guided tour and find out about the history of Derby: a Cathedral city in the centre of England, lying on the River Derwent, rich in history, culture and diversity. A story of Romans, Vikings and onto the 18th century Enlightenment, Derby became noted for fine ceramics, industry and engineering. A centre of the British railway industry, it is the home of iconic Rolls Royce and the Toyota car assembly plant. Derby located at the start of the UNESCO Derwent Valley World Heritage Site, hosts the world’s first factory, now the Museum of Making.
