Introduction to 3D Printing
Introduction to 3D Printing
This workshop will introduce you to the basics of 3D printing through making your very own object.
Over the course of the day, you will be guided through the beginnings of the fascinating and rewarding journey of 3D printing, learning how to use printers, software, materials and online model download sites.
Whether considering purchasing your own printer, or using one at The Museum of Making, our experienced course tutor will outline the steps and processes involved in 3D printing, answering any questions you may have. Throughout the workshop, two printers will be running and available to view at close quarters, as will a range of 3D printed objects and materials. The object you design in the course will be printed by our tutor and will be able to collect a few weeks later.
