This map, which you can download below, identifies key buildings, structures and areas within the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site which are recognised as being ‘at risk’. Data has been gathered from the Derbyshire County Council Heritage at Risk list, an ‘Heritage at Risk’ project carried out by the DerwentWISE Landscape Partnership Scheme and will be reviewed as the Derbyshire Historic Buildings Trust’s lottery-funded project to survey all Grade II listed buildings in Derbyshire progresses. This helps us to identify and monitor structures with the greatest need for conservation.
